JUST WONDERING...

This is how Stevie went to bed tonight.
Is this a clue that it's COLD outside?
My house can't keep up with the sub zero temperature!
I live in the North Pole people.
It's FRIGID up here.
I'm wondering if this is borderline abusive...
making my kids sleep in a 58 degree house.
Nah...didn't think so.
Okay, it's not really 58,
but it sure feels like it.
What happened to Global Warming?
NOT feeling it here.
Now I know why the birds fly south...
BRRRR!

Can't say that I am too broken up that you are freezing and we are not so much. :) We had a bit of snow today but it was gone by mid morning. I hope you survive.

She is my kind of girl! Getting as warm as possible! I bet Santa will visit you first since he'll feel right at home in your climate there!
I got your card today! LOVE IT!
I'm being a lazy e mailer this year-- I'm blaming it on Caleb:)

Sorry, Becky....maybe you should come visit me....it has been sunny and 50's for a week now....Matthew and I went out for a bike ride on Friday....gorgeous, gorgeous! (ok, so i know that usually it rains this time of year, but we are enjoying the sun!!!----but, it really doesn't get much below 30 here!)

Yes--I live with cold fingers and toes all through the day. But I actually like it. You can always put on another layer. In the heat, you can only take off so much...!

I am still driving home everyday with my top down on the car (not me, that would be gross). When I leave for work I put on a sweatshirt (that's my winter coat). I think you should all come to AZ and get warm.

i survived an entire childhood of a 58 degree house. It wasn't pretty. The family mantra was "Put on another sweater". I slept with my sister most nights. But, boy howdy, did dad save money!

Looks like Santa doesn't have to go far to get to your house!

My ceiling to floor window doesn't help us in keeping our house warm, I can relate to Stevie. I'm a big proponent of hats to bed ;-)

This is our first winter in this house and it's FREEZING. It's WAY draftier than we thought it would be and even though the monitor in the living room (all I used in the old house) is up to it's maximum and we've put the heat on in the kitchen and kids' rooms, it's still so cold in here. I can totaly sympathize with you right now. I must also comment on Jess's comment...at least he saved some money being chilly! We're paying for maximum heat and still freezing!

She may be cold, but she sure is cute, all bundled up!!! (Tell her Papa and I sleep with our window open all winter!) Have her go snuggle with Kayla!

Ok, I am really not envious, I hate the cold, every winter, I think, let's just move to Arizona.

That's what I did 20 years ago.

Your children should stay healthy. Those germs just don't thrive as well in a cold house.

Isn't she awesome!! Hi Stevie, you look way cool (literally), you should check out my family's blog and see me eating some nice, hot pho (beef noodle soup).
