Brady was sealed to our family in the Boston Temple on Saturday. It was the one year anniversary of the day we brought this sweet boy into our home. As much as I would love to share the experience, there just are no words to describe the feelings of that day. I felt Ben close and the arms of a loving Heavenly Father around me. It was a perfect day. A glimpse into eternity...
Hard to believe my baby is one already. It was a FABULOUS day! He went shopping and picked out this fun new ride. Grandpa and Grandma Orton and Aunt Suzanne came all the way out from Utah to help celebrate his birthday.
Mama Kara treated him to some watermelon, his cozy coup and a basketball hoop. His first shot was a slam dunk.
Daddy worked really hard on these antiques from 1973. He's spent many hours sanding and painting these tonka trucks to look brand new. Some day he'll have a sand box to go with them.
He spent most of the day outside riding on his new ride.
He even got Grandpa to take him for a spin.
He also got to ride on his first ride at the mall. The firetruck was his favorite.
Tina came to visit us in NH and she LOVES going to the beach. We tried going to our local beach one day but by the time we arrived it started pouring. So...the next good day I decided that she would really enjoy some boating on Lake Sunapee.
(it's way better than sitting on the sand)
Of course I took advantage of the opportunity and went skiing.
It's only the second time on my new ski...
And I am ADDICTED!
Tina got to experience the little boat and the BIG boat.
After Brady got a turn at the wheel...
Captain Kara was brave enough to let Tina have a turn. Everything was great...except for when she almost ran over a canoe-r. He paddled for his life.
There is NO such thing as a bad day on Lake Sunapee...
Life is busier with our new additions and so I don't have as much time this year to ski. BUT...when I have a few hours to spare, I run right over. It wasn't the best weather day, but it was still FUN! I brought Stevie and Brady along as my side kicks.
