QUESTION

These are Stevie's friends.
They're what make her
world go round.

MY QUESTION TO YOU:
She wants to play football next year.
What would YOU say?

Let her play!
She would teach all the tough boys a lesson.

If she wants too then let her go for it. She would be great. Thats always been our take on stuff. If any of the kids want to play or not play reguardless of gender then they can. :) She'll kill them. Love Stacie

love it. let the gal play! i say that to you, then think of my own daughter...and I'm pretty sure the answer wouldn't be so easy.
really though, my feeling is, if she REALLY wants to, let her.
she is YOUr daughter. Mrs. ARHS Champion.

Wow. She's bigger than them...
Tell her to play football next year, and then to invite her friends to switch over and play soccer with her the year after! It's one thing to have those football injuries happen to a boy... that's a sport that's fun to watch, but awfully intense to practice and play! Tough call. I'm not sure I'd let my girls play. Although I'm pretty sure they wouldn't ask. (whew)

Football is a tough game, and I am afraid she would get hurt. I'm really surprised that she is so interested in football. I'd hate to see her get a serious injury. She has a lot of chutzpah (spelling) to want to do this.

Stevie is very cute, and I bet would be just as cute in a football uniform. I say let her play. Are we talking tackle or flag?

I don't think she would get hurt anymore than one of the boys. It's just a risk for the sport.

Good Luck!

Of course what most of your bloggers do not know is that you played on all boy teams: soccer, basketball...and hated it because there were a number of males, who really made fun of you.
I encouraged it because I knew it would make you better, but unless she is playing in high school...that will not be the case.
I do think a boys soccer team could serve the same purpose.

Can you make your blog so that I do not have to sign up each time.

Let her choose. My friends let their daughter play football in town, she holds her own and does better than most of the boys.

OK--from the voice of no experience in such matters, I would let her play...my only hesitation would be concern of injury, but at her age group, I doubt that would be a big concern. Stevie rocks!

I say LET HER PLAY. She can decide if it's "too much" later. How fun!
