Friday as I was flying over the midwest, it dawned on me that I forgot to pack a Sunday outfit for church. I didn't even have shoes. It's a long story. So when I arrived, Joy was good enough to take me shopping. I love her style and wanted some of it to rub off on me. One of the items that we picked up were these boots. They scare me. I've never owned a pair...EVER! Yesterday I wore them to church. Because we were a smidge late to my brother's ward, we sat in the overflow area. Instead of benches, we were sitting in open-backed chairs. I quickly found out that I am NOT so graceful in my boots. Twice...TWICE I kicked the bum of the lady sitting in front of me. TWICE! It happened as I crossed my legs. After the second time I didn't dare move my feet. What can I say? I'm a rookie.
(would it be appropriate to say that I kicked some serious booty?!?!)

Watch out Utah! She's in boots!
I have always loved boots.
I remember before moving to Colorado from Utah, I bought 2 pair and wore them for over 20 years (surprise). I again have 2 pairs, but this time with no heels. I figure at my age in the ice and snow that would be better.
ENJOY! It might be a genetic thing. mom
Your legs look totally HOT!!! I love those boots!
Thanks for a big laugh to start my day off!!
what- no boots before??? I wear them almost every sunday in winter here- I LOVE them- they look great!
You kicked some serious booTAY in those things!
You're funny.
I have boots like that and Christian calls them my "santa boots"
I LOVE them!!! And you are wearing them well ~ :)
The only boots I own are the ones for snow--nothing fancy. I'm surprised you wore boots with heels, especially since you're on crutches. How is the leg?
You make me LAUGH! Your boots ROCK and you looked stunning in you Utah attire!!
"Pretty woman!"
Hey--I want to see the rest of the get-up!
