BEN'S FUNERAL (part 2) THE RECEPTION

We tried to choose things from Benjamin's life that would represent him well.  We picked some of our favorite pictures, stuffed animals, blankets and bibs.  I think he was represented perfectly.  Favorite picture of the day goes to "CHEEKS".  (aka: Benjamin 'Earnhardt' Orton)
The food tent was AMAZING.
Hats off to Chef Bonnie and all the many hard workers that pulled it off without a hitch.  I'm grateful for pictures because I was so mobbed with people that I never got a chance to enjoy their beautiful work.

The flowers were stunning.  So many arrangements all over the place, so beautifully breathtaking.

The people...we had over 500 people come.
(more on that tomorrow)

THANK YOU does not seem adequate for the gratitude that I feel for all the people that helped to make this day PERFECT!

My favorite part about after the funeral was how the sun came out so brilliantly. It was lovely.

The ice sculpture wasn't the only heart that melted that day. Everyone was so touched by everything that day.

The picture of Ben in the orange shirt is so cute -- it looks just like a grade school photo!!

If you have a food tent at your funeral you must be pretty special. :)

oh wow - it shows how much Ben touched people's lives to have so many people celebrate his life with you. I'm so glad people took photos for you too. I love the last one showing someone hugging you.
