AND SO IT GOES...

Yesterday I happened to be visiting with Ben's neurologist from Dartmouth who (it's a long story) ended up diagnosing me with a Thyroid Nodule. It's a lump/bump/hump.
(whatever your preference)
I was symptomatic, just didn't put two and two together. (Sensitivity in the neck -- discomfort with sheets touching my neck at night, shirts and necklaces, Difficulty swallowing, or a choking feeling, persistent or chronic cough not due to allergies or illness) My dad was diagnosed last year with Thyroid cancer. That part makes me a little anxious. I also wonder if I predisposed myself to this with all the x-rays and scans that I have been exposed to when Ben was sick.
I'm talking hundreds.
My thyroid area was never protected. I'm off to see the doctor tomorrow. She will probably refer me to an endocronologist.

Just another "bump" in the road, right?

One step, one day, one moment at a time is all you can do. You must have been a heck of a valiant spirit before you came here. :) Love you and pray for you always.

I think you are the only person I know whose name is pre-printed on all the prayer rolls.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

As others have said previously, let's just hope it is a little "bump" in the road. You've really had your share of stuff this past year. Time to STOP!! Will keep you in my prayers. Have been praying a lot lately!
