I was debating whether or not to post the pictures of my pre and post surgery but after all the HOOPLA going around about Sarah Palin, I felt that she needed some competition. Nothing says style like a surgery "shower cap"!

I thought you'd appreciate the post shower cap/surgery/drugged look I got going on.
This my friends is what the port actually looks like. My surgeon kindly sterilized it for me so that I could bring it home for my children to see.

Ditto to everyone else. I've only been in the hospital twice in my life and NEITHER time did I look that good. And that port...crazy. Glad it's out!
