HOMEWORK

My least favorite thing about 'back to school'?  HOMEWORK!  Poor Kaleb keeps falling asleep reading his history book.  (can't say I blame him)  We've been working on his homework now since he arrived home from school and soccer at  6pm.  It's now 10:15pm.  Four hours is WAY too much for a kid with an IEP.  I did all I could to help him and finally had to enlist the help of his sister that had the same classes just last year.  I have determined that I am NOT smarter then an 8th grader.  (thank goodness for Kayla and her cheerful countenance)  I spy Ben's elephant, do you? :)

4 hours of homework is WAY too much for any kid. Just ridiculous.

I do agree that is the worst part about school. Not a fan of homework!

What a sweet sister Kayla is. I love when they help each other!

I agree that four hours of homework is much to much for the children. They are in school all day, then come home and have to play just to destress from school, eat supper, and then spend 4 hours to do homework and not get to bed at a decent time. Not right and not fair. Enough is enough.

honestly, homeschool kids don't even have 4 hours total they do/day. Thats the sort of thing that makes me want to keep my kids at home. Uggg
