Update on the patient

Amy, the 60+ day amazingly compassionate-selfless-gypsy-homeless-with-six-boys-still-on-the-road-nurse, updated on her blog today, about Becky. She's still in the hospital, has had blood pressure issues, stopped breathing issues and pain management issues. Issues. I think she got out of bed this afternoon for the first time since Tuesday. We're all cheering on the invisible sidelines!

Hang in there Becky! It's only uphill from here.
During my hysterectomy, my bladder was sliced. So I know how these "bumps" can be a pain. You will be up and running before you know it! Be patient with your progress and remember how much you are loved and needed! I love you!!! You are such an inspiration!

Thanks to all of you great friends and family who keep us updated through blogs. This far away friend really is grateful to know what is happening! HUGS!

Hope all of these road blocks will be over with soon. I'm sure it felt good to get out of bed, too. So glad that Amy has been here for you all summer. She is truly a blessing. Wish I could have seen her but that'll have to wait for another visit. We appreciate Jenny's updates on your blog. We send you lots of love and hugs. Aunt Shirley and Uncle David
