Sometimes I need to get out of the house just so I don't cry. My cure is to go play. So after we dropped Kayla at her practice, Stevie and I ran over to a nearby park and had lots of fun playing on the little playground that was there. We had lots of fun laughing and playing together. I got a phone call while we were there from my good friend who has a couple peach trees that are mass producing. She wanted to know if I'd like some. YES PLEASE! So we met her at her son's cub scout activity and my shy daughter (kidding) had no problems joining in on their activity. FISHING. It was a great night of distraction from my sad mother heart.

oh yum - they look delicious! I'm glad you are getting out even though your heart is breaking. It looks like it's getting a bit cooler now - don't think I've seen you in jeans yet! :)
Play is alway a good cure for what ails you especially when its with Stevie. :)
Playing and laughing definitely does the heart good! I love the park pictures. Stevie is becoming quite a good photographer too! :)
looks FUN!!!
play with care and consideration of others.
I need that sign hanging in my house :-)
I agree, playing with the people you love can help sooth a breaking heart. I love you (and I'm sorry you're hurting)
Oh, what fun, and those peaches look awesome! I was hoping to get to my cousin's in Barrington, NH for peaches but it will have to wait until our return from NY. She'll have peaches till the end of September, I hope!!
