REPENT...THAT I MAY HEAL YOU.

That's the title of my lesson.
(I'm teaching RS today)
It's from October's General Conference.
You can read it here:
My object lesson is CHOCOLATE.
(wish you were coming, huh?)
I have some a 100% Cacao Bar.
Ever tasted one?
It's BITTER.
Even though the packaging looks pretty...
the taste is NOT.
This represents SIN.
In the other package is Bliss Chocolate.
It represents the process of REPENTANCE!
Because Repentance is SA-WEET!!!
"Restoring what you cannot restore, healing the wound you cannot heal, fixing that which you broke and cannot fix is the very purpose of the Atonement of Christ."
Boyd K. Packer

What a wonderful idea! Your lesson will be sweet, I'm sure. Wish I could be there!

Love the object lesson. I love the atonement, especially today. My heart needed this. Thank you!

Chocolate and lessons go hand in hand. Great lesson.
