I was hoping for HAPPY
news this morning.
Ben's x-ray looks WORSE
after weaning him yesterday.
I was hoping the Doctor was
playing an "April Fools Day" joke.
(nope)
His vent settings will stay the same,
no progress will be made today.
It was a little discouraging.
This means that Ben
will be HERE on Saturday.
The day he turns 7!
I'm heading home to see my family.
I'll be back again tomorrow.
(sigh)

I'm so sorry Becky. I'm sure that is discouraging...Well, you can have 2 birthday parties now-- one in the hospital, and one when he gets home! Keep "feeding the hope" :)

Hey Becky...do you want/can you have company? Will the family be coming up on Saturday? If I can see my way there, ie-Scott stays with kids ;), I would love to come. Ben will be in our prayers for sure! Love to you both!
What a bummer, so sorry to hear that. I am glad you are going to spend the day at home tho, you need it...hanging in hospitals is so tiring!
Funny we are celebrating a bday with carrot cake this saturday too! (mu husbands) too funny.
