MY BACKYARD

Ben's family has arrived in NH.
(my twin)
We spent the morning in my back yard exploring.
The kids LOVED it.
We have a mini grand canyon 100 feet from my back door,
with a water hole/water fall close by.
(water pictures tomorrow)
Here's Joy and her two smaller children over looking the cliff.
Kaleb was the first one to the bottom.
Here is the same shot of Kaleb, but zoomed out.
(can you see him in the very middle of the picture?)
This is the group that traversed the cliff.
(way zoomed in on the camera)
Ben took a shot of us at the top of the cliff looking down.
(way zoomed in too)
This is the tree trunk that holds the rope that they climbed down on.
This is the rope going OVER the edge of the cliff.
It's pretty much VERTICAL.
Kaleb is climbing back up to the rope,
it was so steep that it took him quite awhile to reach it again.
He kept slipping on the sand.
(you can see the rope in the bottom left of the picture)
This is the view from my back yard.
BEAUTIFUL!
If you look closely, you can see Ben and kids at the bottom of the ravine in the picture.

We are SO very lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
(Ben keeps threatening to move here, I hope he does)

Great pictures. I've always said that New Hampshire was God's country--and it is!! We'll be in Holderness the end of July and going to the Hebron Fair on the 31st. We missed it last year. Looking forward to a change of scenery--needed very much.
