"PATIENCE" Daniel Son!
It's not my best virtue. I try, I really do. Sometimes I pray for more patience, but that seems to get me into more trouble. Today was my first day back at my Muay Thai class. It's been about 17 days. That's about as long as I could wait. Remember I tore my calf muscle playing basketball RIGHT after one of my Muay Thai classes? Well, I finally felt good enough to go today. I let my instructor know to go easy on me. He understood because he's torn his TWICE! We did some light running, it felt good. I made sure to really stretch out my calfs...along with other muscles. Then we started hitting the bag. He warned me about the round kicks. (See picture) You have to switch legs quickly, which puts a lot of pressure on the calf muscle. I made a mental note and proceeded with the class. Halfway through we started doing pad work. I was working with Dashi (the grandmaster) and got distracted. I went to do the round kick on my left side and heard the 'POP' again. It dropped me to the floor. SO....I'm back on the bench, the injured, reserve bench. (sigh)

Becky--enough is enough!! Need to concentrate, dear niece. This is what it is all about, and you have to stop injuring yourself. You like to do these things and you have to be tuned in to do it right. So please, be careful and concentrate so you don't injure yourself again. You are so energetic, and yes, we have to learn patience--not always easy, is it? Love you.
Um...HELLO! It's time to take up crocheting or watching soap operas as a hobby.
I agree with Ellen~sit, eat some bon bons, stop being so active!!!
laughing. I had the EXACT same thought as EP. Only I was thinking knitting....
You need a TIME OUT, and call in a sub!
I think I need to have a word with you :) FEEL BETTER!
Now you'll have a real excuse to cuddle with Ben, turn on the new tube, and watch all those Christmas shows. Sorry. Does that mean talking in church, while standing in heels, will be even more painful?
Becky, patience takes a long time and hard to develop, and to wait for it is an exercise in discipline.I've been waiting a long time to see my isssues resolved,it's like sailing the ocean and wondering when I will see the shoreline apppear in view, In the meantime, relax and knit some hats to keep occupied.
There's never a dull moment with you guys is there? Reminds me of my sister Amber who did played with a bad back and lo and behold- hurt herself again. Feel better soon! Your a tough cookie
