ROAD TRIP (day two)

Today we drove through IN, IL, MO, IA, and finally NE.

It's been a LONG, HOT day.

The temps were in the 90's...a little hot with no a/c.

We got to eat at a big game steakhouse tonight.

It was a fun ending to day two.

2,000 miles down, 650 left.

Gearing up for one more day...

ROAD TRIP

Good times today.

This was us at 6am this morning.

We drove through MA, NY, PA, OH and IN.

LONG day.

Over 1,000 miles logged.

Thanks to twizzlers and the oreo's for keeping us fueled.

Pray that we will survive the sketchy motel tonight.

Nebraska is the goal tomorrow.

CAMP JOSEPH (the end)

Besides setting tents up, hiking and eating s'mores

we kept ourselves busy by:

prepping and cooking food,

playing horse shoes,

ordaining a new deacon,

spending time together,

swinging on swings,

taking naps in hammocks,

playing Ultimate frisbee,

finding TePee's in the woods,

swimming in the pond,

playing with balloon animals that Uncle Zach made,

frolicking in the river down the road,

finding lots of cool forest creatures,

holding cute babies 

and visiting Joseph Smith's Memorial.

Can't wait to go back!
