MY (other) BACK YARD

Welcome to my WATER HOLE!
(ok, it's not really mine, but no one ever uses it)
This is better than any swimming pool.
And it's FREE!
The END.

MY BACKYARD

Ben's family has arrived in NH.
(my twin)
We spent the morning in my back yard exploring.
The kids LOVED it.
We have a mini grand canyon 100 feet from my back door,
with a water hole/water fall close by.
(water pictures tomorrow)
Here's Joy and her two smaller children over looking the cliff.
Kaleb was the first one to the bottom.
Here is the same shot of Kaleb, but zoomed out.
(can you see him in the very middle of the picture?)
This is the group that traversed the cliff.
(way zoomed in on the camera)
Ben took a shot of us at the top of the cliff looking down.
(way zoomed in too)
This is the tree trunk that holds the rope that they climbed down on.
This is the rope going OVER the edge of the cliff.
It's pretty much VERTICAL.
Kaleb is climbing back up to the rope,
it was so steep that it took him quite awhile to reach it again.
He kept slipping on the sand.
(you can see the rope in the bottom left of the picture)
This is the view from my back yard.
BEAUTIFUL!
If you look closely, you can see Ben and kids at the bottom of the ravine in the picture.

We are SO very lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
(Ben keeps threatening to move here, I hope he does)

OUR BEDROOM

We cleaned out our bedroom the other day.
Change can be hard, and THIS change is very hard.
Ben slept in our room for eight years.
We had his little corner perfectly set up for him.
I miss hearing all his machines beeping and running.
I miss seeing all of the lights flashing and blinking.
I miss seeing him all snuggled up at bedtime.
In his corner, we replaced it with a new little chaise lounge,
and got some new bedding to match.
Hardly a comfort to replace what is missing...
Mom wanted to see pictures...so here they are.

BUSTED

Officer Orton: "Ma'am, do you know why I pulled you over?"
Me: "No, was I speeding?"
Officer Orton: "No ma'am, but you ARE transporting my favorite breakfast."
Officer Orton: "I'm afraid I'm going to have to confiscate those."
"And eat them."
"I'm gonna let you off with a warning...to bring MORE next time."
"Have a nice day ma'am."
