It doesn't get much better when you have one of those moments that make you laugh until you almost cry. It's theraputic, it's healing and for goodness sakes...it just feels good. My daughter often is our source of comic relief. We are lucky to have her. The night of her birthday we were sitting around the counter getting ready for her to take a bite out of her cake when she asked us where the candles were. Her (very sarcastic) dad replied that they were there, you just couldn't see them because they were "invisible" candles. She very seriously looked at her dad and said...
"Dad, I'm NOT as DUMB as I LOOK!"
Oh my sweet, innocent Kayla...we LAUGHED SO HARD that we almost fell off our stools. My favorite part was that she was sort of laughing with us, pretending to know why we were laughing so hard at what she just said but her eyes told us that she was clueless. After I composed myself I explained to her that what she probably meant to say was "I'm not at dumb as you think I am". (or something to that effect) It was a classic moment.

PS:Kayla, thank you for making me laugh...

Kids say the darndest things. Alex makes me laugh so hard at times. He has that dry wit/humor that is just histerical because he is seven and sound like he is seventy at times. I can't believe you have a teenager! We are on the verge. Nik is headed that way within the next few years. No Hannah didn't have enough hair to donate. Her hair grows so slowly. Depressingly slow actually. :P Love you, keep hanging in there, Stacie
cute sweet little Kayla - she's hilarious.
laughter is the best medicine, i'm glad you have such great people around to keep you smiling Becky!
btw.NICE work on the Neil Diamond songs, you are a true fan, I love it!!!
I am still trying to get my arms around Becky having a 13 year old. I still think of you as a 13 year old.
Glad she keeps you laughing, I have a 4 year old that does that and I hope she never changes.
Wow, that is funny...I can totally picture Kara saying something like that! But, instead of 'laughing with us', she'd be screaming at us for making fun of her. I'm glad Kayla could give you a laugh!
Tell Kayla thanks for the laugh. I needed that.
That reminds me of some of the good ones that have come out of Tyler's mouth over the years. Ah, the wisdom of youth!
I love a good laugh!!
Okay, so I had to read that post twice before I understood what was so funny! I AM as dumb as I look~! Kayla, you rock.
That's why I love you!
Laughter is the best. My mom always says, who needs tv, kids are way more entertaining.
