PLEASE don't let this picture fool you. I was 2 hours post-surgery and feeling HIGH as a KITE! It's the NEXT picture that shows my true feelings.

Lovely, huh? My nose is so red from rubbing it raw. Narcotics do that to me. I itch and itch and itch. Can you feel my pain?

Hooray! So gld you are hom in your own bed! Nothing like it! Praying for a non-eventful recovery, including being in the 80% non-medication category...that in itself can be really tricky. Keep your chin up!
ReplyDeleteLove the Frankenstein style incision - just in time for Halloween! Here's to a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're home and on the road to recovery. Now you and your Dad can match incisions! I also have had "allergic" reactions to tape. We just have very sensitive skin.

Nothing better than your own bed! What is on your legs? Did I miss something? Wouldn't be shocking if I did!
ReplyDeleteThe wraps on my legs are for clot prevention. They massage the calfs to keep the blood flowing. They always use these after a surgery.
